This page sets out the agreement between you (as a private customer) and nooku Limited when you buy any of our products directly from www.nooku.co (the "Website").
We're nooku Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 09542062), with our office at 8 Elliot Place, Skypark, Glasgow, Scotland, G3 8EP.
You can reach us directly at hello@nooku.co, or just head to the Contact Us page on our website for more details.
On our site, you can order two types of air quality monitors - the nooku Fusion and the nooku Mini - as well as a multi-pack containing one of each (together referred to as "Products").
When you make a purchase on the Website, your contract is with nooku Limited.
We may occasionally offer promo codes or discounts for use on the site. Just a heads-up: we can change or deactivate these at any time without notice.
Your order isn't confirmed when you hit "place order" — it's only final once we've successfully taken payment.
We work hard to ensure all product details, prices, and images on our site are accurate. But sometimes mistakes happen. If we spot something after your order is placed and can't fulfil it, we'll let you know via email and issue a full refund.
Payment is taken once we've accepted your order.
If you're ordering from outside the UK, your delivery might be subject to local taxes or import duties. Unfortunately, we can't control those costs — the courier will usually get in touch with payment instructions.
Yes, you can cancel or return your order if you change your mind:
If your order arrives in separate deliveries, the 30-day return window starts the day after the final item is delivered.
Please note: Custom or personalised items (or anything you've modified yourself) can't be cancelled or returned.
If you cancel due to a change of heart, you'll get a full refund for the Product price and any standard delivery charges (excluding any upgrades like next-day delivery). Just make sure the item is unused and returned in its original packaging with all accessories.
If the item is used more than you would in a shop, or isn't returned in a resaleable condition, we may reduce your refund.
To cancel, email us or visit our Contact Us page. We'll let you know how to send the Product back. Your order is considered cancelled once we've received your request.
Refunds are usually processed within 14 days of us receiving your returned item — or within 14 days of your cancellation request if the item hasn't been dispatched yet.
If a Product is faulty, not as described, or not up to standard, let us know within 30 days and you can request a full refund or exchange.
Once returned and checked, we'll confirm the fault and issue your refund (including any standard delivery charge you paid).
If something goes wrong after the first 30 days but within two years of delivery, we'll offer a repair or replacement under our warranty policy.
If the issue isn't resolved through repair or replacement, you can ask for a partial refund or a return.
Reach out via our Contact Us page or email support@nooku.co, and we'll provide return instructions. Please send the item back within 14 days of receiving those instructions.
If you request a personalised Product, we'll produce it exactly as you instruct us. Please double-check for typos, as we're not responsible for errors unless they're ours.
Any delivery times given are estimates. We do our best to meet them, but we can't guarantee exact timings.
If you've paid extra for quicker delivery and our courier doesn't meet the deadline, we won't be able to refund the delivery upgrade.
If you bought a nooku monitor from a third-party retailer (like B&Q, Currys, or Parent Studio), you'll need to contact them directly for any refund or exchange. We're not able to process returns for items bought through other sellers.
We (nooku) own or license all intellectual property rights relating to our Products. That includes copyrights, trademarks, designs, software, and more.
Buying from us doesn't give you any right to use our IP beyond personal use of the Products.
You agree not to:
Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
If we've not met our responsibilities — for example, by failing to use reasonable care — we'll cover losses that were foreseeable. But we won't be liable for losses that weren't obvious or discussed when you placed the order.
We don't limit or exclude our liability where it would be unlawful — for example, in cases of personal injury caused by our negligence.
Our Products are for personal use only. We don't cover any business losses (like lost profits or business interruptions).
If you're interested in becoming a reseller, please contact us at hello@nooku.co to apply for a B2B account. Business terms will then apply.
If you try to place a business order through our website (including for resale), that's a breach of these Terms — and we'll cancel your order and refund you.
We only use the personal data you provide for the purpose it was given — for example, to personalise a Product.
Please don't send us any content that's harmful, offensive, or unlawful. We may cancel any order that breaches these rules and won't be responsible for doing so.
For more on how we use your data, please read our Privacy Notice.
These Terms are governed by English law.
If you live in England, you can bring any legal claim in the English courts.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can choose to go through either your local courts or the English courts.
As nooku grows and improves, we may update these Terms. If we do, we'll post the new version on our Website and include the date they take effect.
Any changes will only apply to future orders — not ones made before the new Terms were published.
